My trip to California

Hello! In the middle of August I left France to fly all the way to California for a 20 days trip with my father. brceq-poster_carte_du_monde_vintage_cavallini_Souvenirs_de_lyon_pentes_de_la_croix_rousse   We landed in Los Angeles at night and drove to the house our friends lent us, which was more than great! DSC_0069   We stayed four days in LA, here are a few pictures. DSC_0072   DSC_0092

We then drove to Sequoias National Park and it was absolutely stunning, the trees were huge and we spent the day hiking.

After that we continued driving to the north and got to Big Sur.

This was our last stop before San Francisco which was great even though I didn’t really got to enjoy it as I was sick and the weather was really bad during our stay.

After spending two days in SF we took a plane to Las Vegas! Unfortunately none of the pics I took turned out good as I left the flash on my camera. Silly me.. But I enjoyed Vegas wayyyy more than what I would have expected: my father had booked us a suite at the Bellagio and we spent the night outside, ate a lot and had fun watching the over 21s getting drunk!

After our night in Vegas we drove to Zion, Arches and Bryce Canyon’s national parks. And..wow! My dad had been warning me for weeks about the heat and luckily he was wrong, it was the perfect weather for us to walk around and enjoy the breath-taking landscapes.

After spending another night in Vegas but at the Wynn Encore this time, we hit the road again to go to Palm Springs which we didn’t really visit because our hotel was too great no to enjoy all day.

As the end of our trip was coming we went back to the sea, in San Diego and then to Los Angeles where I was more than happy to shop, eat at Lemonade everyday and swim in the biggest waves I had ever seen in my life!

Paris Room Tour ♡

Heyeyeyey!

For once, I cleaned my room so I thought I’d do a little room tour, I’m gonna present you my bedroom at my mom’s apartment. Here’s what you see when you stand at my door.

DSC_0019

When you enter, on your left you see a wall with this Bastille poster I took off in the streets haha, on your right is this little niche in which is this secret secret box and some bits and bobs.

DSC_0020                            DSC_0043

In front of the door is my desk, as you can see it’s purple and the wall above it is green and it’s amagnetic wall so I put a lot of stuff on there.

DSC_0012   DSC_0010

The wall opposite to the Bastille poster is actually a cupboard where I store my clothes.

DSC_0014

Then, if you stand near the desk and look at your left, you can see this. On the beam is a timeline of our friendship my best friend made me.

DSC_0022

On a pretty table is my make up collection as well as my skincare products.

DSC_0015

Above the table is my “feel good shelf“, on which there are a few treats, little motivational quotes, a candle, my 2014 memory jar and a few bath bombs.

DSC_0018

My room then continues under the roof, so I can’t stand up. Here’s my red record player and a sheepskin with a few pillows, a candle and some fairy lights. I really like to sit there, and read while listenings to some old records.

DSC_0024

Still under the roof is my bed on which my computer is.

DSC_0027    DSC_0032

As you may have seen there’s no real windows in my rooms but I do have fanlights, and here’s the vue from one of them.

Finally, here is a quick video tour I made, so be sure to check it out!

H&M Crop Tops Haul & How I Wear Them

Hello lovelies!

Today I went shopping at H&M, and as usual I didn’t find what I was looking for, but they were selling crop tops at 4,99€ so I obviously bought some.. Obviously..

So I’m going to show you what I bought and how I’m maybe going to style them!

The first one is this white top with a “cartoon style” watermelon on the front, as you can see it’s really open on the sides so I’ll maybe wear it with my brandy melville kind-of-bralette. My shorts are from H&M too!

DSC_0007     DSC_0009     DSC_0011

The second crop top I got is this really short stripped top, you really must wear the same Brandy Melville thing I talked about before underneath it because the back is open in a V shape.

My black maxi skirt is also from H&M and I really like it because, even though you can’t see it on the pictures, it’s very flowy and there’s 2 openings, in the Angelina Jolie’s style!

DSC_0012       DSC_0015     DSC_0013

The next thing I got is the same as the last one but the pattern on it is different.

This short skirt with weird animals on it is from Forever 21.

DSC_0017

And finally, my favorite one, this sunflower patterned shirt, it makes me so happy just to look at it. I styled it with these black and white poka dots pants which I’m in love with, and they’re from Forever 21.

Okay, so these are all the tops I bought at H&M, I hope you enjoyed this article, and please comment down your favorite outfit!

Tunisia 2014

Hellow loves!

Let me introduce myself, my name is Héloïse, I’m 15 (16 tomorrowww) and I live in Paris, France!

So this is my first article and I have no idea where I’m going with this blog.. But what I know is that I’m going to share with you what I’ve been loving, whether it’s my travels, music, make up, food, movies, fashion or anything else!

I went to Tunisia during Spring Break with my mom, my brother, my grandparents and my best friend, and I’m gonna share a few of the pics I took while I was there.

For the ones who don’t know, Tunisia is a small country in North Africa, even though I’d like to, I’m not going to explain the country’s history, nor its actual problem because, in all honesty, I can’t.

But I’m going to try to put words on the feelings I had during my trip.

We spent one day in Tozeur and visited the medina which is the old neighbor of the town. It’s so quiet, and I think it’s the only place I went during my trip that was peaceful.

We then took the road and the landscapes were so gorgeous, it was truly breathtaking!

It was then time time to enter the desert. I’ve already had been there once, for a week, and because of some personal problems it was one of the worst trip of my life. This last trip made me fear this one so much that I was almost crying during the 45 minutes drive that took us into the desert itself.

Of course the desert is amazing and beautiful, but I feel like it’s not for me. I don’t feel good in it, I don’t feel that interior peace that my mom felt every time she came, I can’t be myself. I felt some sort of  embarrassment when I was talking with the bedouins, even though they’re the most nice and happy persons I’ve ever met. Really. They were so great with me, and they really made me want to hug them (if you know what I mean). Well, I’m gonna stop writing and show you the pictures. Oh, one more thing, I forgot to say that we stayed 2 days in the desert.

And yes, I did took a selfie with the bedouin I got along with the best!

After that, we spend a very calming week in Djerba, enjoying the sun, our family and the food.

Sadly, I didn’t took any pictures in the souk, but it’s really something special, something we don’t have in our countries. A souk is basically a market, but everybody is screaming, goats are running, children are crying, tourists are taking pictures, twenty grandmothers are talking together, I would say it’s more of  an atmosphere than a place.

After a week visiting and sunbathing, it was already time to leave and I took this last picture of the sunrise on our last day and I’m so happy how it turned out, so here it is.

Finally, here are some random snaps I took that I really like.

Makeup Routine for School

Welcome back lovelies!

As I said in my previous post, I’m 16, so I obviously can’t put a lot of money into buying makeup and I know a lot of you can’t either, which is why I decided to do this school morning routine. This is the look I go for everyday, it takes about 10 minutes to do, and it’s kind of a “no makeup look”, so it’s great for school!

Every night before I go to bed I moisturize my skin with a nivea creme, it is extremely moisturizing which is why I don’t use it in the morning.

In the morning, before I put any makeup, I use the Rimmel Stay Matte Primer on my face and I use some chapstick on my lips.

Image

I then use the Bourjois 123 Perfect CC Eye Cream Concealer under my eyes and on my spots and imperfections and blend it with my fingers. I set the concealer with my Rimmel Stay Matte Powder and this Forever 21 brush (WHICH IS AMAZING).

DSC_0012

I then move on to the eyes. I always use this crayon eyeliner (I don’t know the brand, I “stole” it from a friend) on my top and bottom water lines, but only on the outer half, to make my eyes look more open. For eyeshadow, I only use my Bourjois Chocolate Bronzing Powder in the light/medium shade with my Hema eye brush, on the outer corner and in the crease of my eyes, to make them more defined.

DSC_0015

For mascara I alternate between the Maybelline The Falsies and the Maybelline The Rocket Volume Express (the waterproof version) if I want a waterproof mascara. I use mascara on my top and bottom lashes and concentrate it on the outer half of my lashes.

DSC_0017

I then apply the Bourjois Bronzer with my Forever 21 brush on my cheek bones, temples, and on my nose to make it look thiner. Finally, I put on this really pretty blush by L’Oral on the apple of my cheeks.

DSC_0019

And here is the fun part: the lips! I own four lipsticks and I use them to change my make up look.

I have a deep purple one which is a Revlon Colorbust in the color 005 Crush, I also own two Revlon Coloburst Lip Butters, the first one is a pretty coral shade which is 015 Tutti Frutti and the other one is a bright red in the color 035 Candy Apple. The last lipstick I use is a Color Sensational one from Maybelline and its color’s name, 175 Pink Punch, describes it really well.

DSC_0026

Okay, that’s it, if you have any questions please leave a comment!

Have a great day

Héloise xx
